Land Sales Direct Ltd is planning to introduce a revolutionary new idea in land ownership. It is called LAND SHARE. Instead of having to pay out huge sums for even a small piece of land, it allows people to purchase a “share” in the increasing value of land for a relatively low cost.
The principle of LAND SHARE ownership is very simple. We buy land in a potentially strategic location. We divide the land up into a set amount of plot-shares* which are then sold to individuals who welcome the opportunity of acquiring a land holding at low cost. We currently estimate that each plot share will be equivalent to approximately 500 square feet and cost about £495 (that’s less than £1 a square foot)
When the total land area comprising of all plots is sold, the proceeds from the sale will be divided equally among the land-share holders. They will thus receive the original purchase price, plus any uplift** generated by the sale.

** Less administrative costs. Uplift means the difference between the price paid for land and the price at which the land is
sold. The price of land has been rising rapidly over the last 10 years and any development or planning permission would
increase the uplift value considerably. However, please note that all land sold by Land Sales Direct is agricultural land
without planning permission.
